Easy to handle maple U-shape neck boasting a gorgeous slab of Brazilian rosewood fretboard with 10” radius and a depth of .924 1st fret to .976 12th. Action is currently sitting directly above the 1st fret and 3\/16th 12th fret. Width at nut is 1 3\/4” and 1 7\/8 12th. Fretting all notes are crystal clear over the entire register. The floating Bigsby cast aluminum bridge can go lower or higher without issue. This instrument plays perfectly, guaranteed. Harness part codes all match to indicate this H76 was manufactured in 1960. The circuit on these beasts exhibit a typical hum when all pickups are off. There are 3 incredibly powerful pole adjustable DeArmond pickups (one of their finest designs) all hitting around 10.50k output. HOT! The truss adjustment works, neck is straight, the ebonized maple fretboard shows no dryness or cracks. There are no issues fretting over the entire course. The factory maple block under the bridge helps with stability and feedback. Add to this chromed individual Waverly Stitch-line tuners and a marvelous Bigsby B3\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThere are dings, scratches and blushing present. Nothing major on the top except a paint chip on the lower bass bout, small chips around treble side f-hole and extra hole where the original pickguard was located on the top. Most of the marks are on the back as you can plainly see. Minor overall checking is present as well. A previous owner added self-adhesive silver foil tape on the diamond toggle plate and cupcake knobs. This came off with warm water, and everything looks excellent underneath. The pinstripe around the peghead can be removed with fingernail polish remover if so desired. Stress cracks are present around the output jack and the side mid-bout pickguard bracket. The wood is intact. The jack output (at some point in this guitar’s life) is supported by a small block inside the body. Neither area is an issue. The photos show all points of interest.
