This specimen is 100% factory stock and features a Neck-Through design; the guitar is one solid slab of maple from top to tail, and two “wings” are glued to either side of slab to form body. Instruments like these resonate incredibly well. This model performs swimmingly, fretted or slide-work. Although the recorded video demo is with a clean tone, these Kay’s sound nasty and can snarl with little overdrive. The original Geib tweed-esque soft shell case is in excellent condition.
